I have a design that has a few dozen compontents in it, some nested in sub assemblies, some not. One part is a ball bearing, imported from a suppliers cad library. 

Now, when I create a BOM, all the balls appear as individual items in the BOM. I could use the "top level" option, but then it would also make many other subassemblies not appear in the BOM.  I want these, but not the balls. What is the Spaceclaim proposed procedure in situations like this?

I have filed this to Development.  I haven't been able to come up with a workaround for you yet, but if I do, I will post the results here.
